I've always been fascinated by the history and unique character of the places that define America. As an avid road tripper, I've spent years exploring historic sites, small towns, scenic byways, and cultural landmarks.
Route 66 has it all. More than a highway, it is a living museum of architecture, public art, neon signs, historic motels, roadside attractions, and Americana spanning eight states and nearly a century of history.
Through "Leroy On 66," I'm documenting the visual heritage of America's Mother Road—from classic motor courts and vintage signage to murals, theaters, service stations, and architectural treasures.
This journey serves as the foundation for my upcoming book, *Route 66: Art & Architecture of the Mother Road*, a photographic exploration of the art, architecture, design, and cultural landmarks that make Route 66 one of America's most iconic highways.
